        I'd get either the 3700+, Opteron 146, or 148 socket 939 instead.

        3500+
        2.2Ghz 512k L2
        $189

        3700+
        2.2Ghz 1M L2
        $230

        Opteron 146
        2.0Ghz 1M L2
        $190

        Opteron 148
        2.2Ghz 1M L2
        $229

          Asrock SATA2 939 Dual Mobo
          4 x 512mb Kingston Hyper-X CL2 DDR400 (2GB!)

Not a big difference. But if you get a 3500+ and overclock it to 2.8GHz, you can't claim to have a FX-57 like you can with a 3700+

And most people are reaching this easily on air cooling with the 3700+. I was browsing extremeoverclocking.net's forums some guys have reported 3.0Ghz with the 3700+ on AIR! Those with water have reported even higher!

I say buy the Opteron 146 or Opteron 148 (if you can spare the money) and hope like mad that you get a CABYE or CABNE stepping. As they have overclocked over 1ghz before, on stock cooling. Opterons can be very good at overclocking.

The 3500 is great, but an opteron is much cheaper and will OC to just as high.

Look on their site, but I'm pretty sure it's usa only for newegg.

Yup. Newegg is only for the USA.
