I moved from the 754 3200+ to thh 939 3500+ and I noticed an enormo difference!
My Rig:
AMD 3500+ 2.2GHz
Asrock SATA2 939 Dual Mobo
4 x 512mb Kingston Hyper-X CL2 DDR400 (2GB!)

Not a big difference. But if you get a 3500+ and overclock it to 2.8GHz, you can't claim to have a FX-57 like you can with a 3700+

And most people are reaching this easily on air cooling with the 3700+. I was browsing extremeoverclocking.net's forums some guys have reported 3.0Ghz with the 3700+ on AIR! I say buy the Opteron 146 or Opteron 148 (if you can spare the money) and hope like mad that you get a CABYE or CABNE stepping. As they have overclocked over 1ghz before, on stock cooling. Opterons can be very good at overclocking.Comment
