I plan on buying a new computer for x-mas what is the best hardware i can buy for it what is the best geforce card and AMD processor out?

dunno what the best AMD proc is right now. the FX-57 sure is nice.

best nVidia card is the 7800GTX I think

im assuming you know that buying from a company is a no no and custom build is the way to go

i dont want to buy a mainstream computer i want to buy a custom built one

i am thinking between 800-4000 dollars

i want a amd and geforce since they have been good on my old computer

also i dont know what else i should get like motherboard port pci or..?
i want to be bale to upgrade the graphics card if a better one comes out.

AUDIO: Creative SB X-Fi "Fatal1ty"
CDROM: 52x CDROM/16x DVDROM etc etc...

then you'll want a NICE power supply, some fans (or liquid cooling), a pretty large case, and all the other accessories needed.


probably can expect to spend around 2000-3000 on a system like this.

The best computer you can get depends on what you like and what you plan to do.I would build it myself. For a low end and some mid range computers you can buy one cheaper than you can build it. For the high end you can save as much as 60% if you build it. Plus you will be able to fix it when stuff goes wrong (they all have problems eventually).
