    SLI support?

Does anyone know of a socket 478 MO'BO that supports SLI config?

It's not the socket, it's the mobo northbridge chipset you have to worry about.

But the short answer is NO.

Here are the Intel mobos that support SLI.

        Re: SLI support?

My threads keep getting flip flopped, this seems like a client support question.

Anywho this is my other question. I recently downloaded the demo to see how my system would perform in BF2 and when I load a map it'll start and it'll get to 15% load something real quick and be done. Then it will sit there for a minute or two authorizing my account or whatever and I don't know why. Or it will take forever to load it will load from 1% to 95% and skip to 100% then it sits there and sits there for a few minutes (the song has already restarted by now) and then it finally finishes and I can play fine. Does anyone know what is causing this or is it normal? my specs arein my sig.

On another note, think again about lower systems like mine I can run mine everything low and textures on medium, play on 64 person server lag free, and max out at about 65 - 75 fps.

In all honesty I have to point to the Celeron for that.

The loading is kinda odd to begin with. The verifying client data is part of PunkBuster and it takes some time on "slower" machines. Mine is very fast but then again I spent a lot more then most people would on a computer.

Go with an AMD if you can. I have a P4 3.4 and I'm not impressed. With my hardware in an AMD based machine I would easily be getting 7000-8000 in 3D Mark 05, but my max is 6500.
