Re: Can Someone Please Help Me??
Thats the same driver as I'm using (Cat 5.10) & its OK for me. There is a newer driver released today https://support.ati.com/ics/support/...questionID=640 that does address a BF2 problem, but not specifically your card series. Might be worth trying it. It is recommended that you UNINSTALL your old driver before installing a new one, do NOT install over the top of the old one.Originally posted by chilly604Driver Version: 6.14.0010.6575 (English)Comment

Re: Can Someone Please Help Me??
Did you try changing the shortcut to open in 800X600 res? or...did you close all your background programs? Read the manual it'll tell you how to do this...(near the back) Ctrl Alt Del and sort by user name (don't close system files). You have plenty of ram...so you should be fine...but if you have norton, it might be interferring.
Good luck.Comment

Re: Can Someone Please Help Me??
you know what, i have a laptop w/ a radeon9100 and it couldn't play BF2 either. the thing that worked for me was downloading the omega drivers. once i dl it, BF2 worked (of course, everything was on low). but hey, atleast i could play at work!
try those drivers and remember, when deleting drivers, doon't forget to use drivercleaner as well. post back w/ results! good luck!
EDIT: Oh yah, what kind of monitor do you have? Make sure you match the native resolution w/ your videocard also. if that doesn't work, try switching out monitors w/ a crt.Comment

Re: Can Someone Please Help Me??
thank you for your tip gsxr310 but since i'm very not fimiliar wiith drivers could u send me a link to the latest version of the omega driver and a link to a drivercleaner? also iam patching as we speak and i was wondering how long does it normally take. cuz it's been 10 minutes and it's still patching and there's no progress bar so i dont know if this is normal. Also i'm certain it's not frozen.Comment
