Actually, the 4000+ is $334 and the X2 4800+ is $787. And why is it a surprise that the 4000+ beats the X2 4800+? Processor performance isn't decided by the price. The X2 4800+ is a 2.4GHz processor and the 4000+ is a 2.4GHz processor. Single games don't use Dual Core processors, the performance is the same. The 4000+ only beats the X2 4800+ by 5%, not much, they're practically the same processor as far as BF2 goes.

Thats because the 4800+ has the latency of the added core. BF2 is a single core CPU game.

You mean AMD Athlon 64 Mobile 4000+?

If it were in order, pretty mutch thats what my laptop is running right now :)

i guess im just going to keep my mouth shut
