Only for BF2 though as the scores for Quake 4 look more *normal*.

BF2 is an AMD64 game :)

Does anyone else find this ironic? I mean, the game states: "Optimized for Intel" They can't even run the software specialised for their systems as well as AMD. :laugh:

3200+ AT STOCK is better than all P4 processors, but overclocked to 2.5GHz (95% of 3200+s can get to 2.5GHz, like a 4000+ or FX-53 performance) it leaves all Intels in the dust.

I agree but why compare an overclocked amd to a stock intel? Most fo the Intels reach 4Gzh + overclocked.

I agree but why compare an overclocked amd to a stock intel? Most fo the Intels reach 4Gzh + overclocked.

Because the overclocked AMD cost $150 while the Intels that go to 4GHz cost anywhere from $400-$600-$1050 for the Pentium 4 XE 3.73.

Actually, the 4000+ is $334 and the X2 4800+ is $787. And why is it a surprise that the 4000+ beats the X2 4800+? Processor performance isn't decided by the price. The X2 4800+ is a 2.4GHz processor and the 4000+ is a 2.4GHz processor. Single games don't use Dual Core processors, the performance is the same. The 4000+ only beats the X2 4800+ by 5%, not much, they're practically the same processor as far as BF2 goes.
