Samsung 50" DLP HDTV issues

Game crashes to desktop after splash screen, and intro movie when single or multi-player is selected. Game functions well with a crt monitor alone or with the crt set as the primary display in a cloning set up with the Samsung. EA has no fix. System runs Anthalon 64 3500+, with 2G ram, and a Nvidia 6800 128mb. Sound card is a creative audigy platinum zs. Any suggestions....? Have played with resolution and refresh rate, edited video.con file per EA input.

CRT is hooked via vga cable....Samsung via DVI

How are you getting the signal output into the TV in the first place? VGA cables, DVI? Are you using the TV out on your graphics cards? We need additional details.


Worst case sceneraio you should just buy another TV.....yes.....thats the problem.....

i have the exact same Tv and had the exact same problem , called ea they told me that BF2 does not support this TV

Seems 50" HDTV's have issues.
