radeon 9800xt 256

im having trouble running bf2 with this card it is giving me black shapes appearing where the ground terrain should be in random places i have a p4 3.2 1 gig ram and my radeon 9800xt 256 mb anyone know what i should do ? i have updated the drivers to catalyst 5.10 is there a setting or something or should i degrade my drivers to something else? im willing to try anything please help

sound like artifacts, did u overclock it?

i have a radeon 9800 xt 128 but im not getting anything? it must be those artifact things

Try and uninstall and reinstall drivers with drivercleaner as explained in this post:

http://www.totalbf2.com/forums/showpost.php?p=230016&postcount=3

This way you will have only one driverset and control panel to cause problems and less chance of conflicts.

How long have you had the card? did you buy it used? And you did run drivercleaner.. correct?

i've had it for a bout a year since 11/2004
bought it brand new from powercolor
and yes i did run driver cleaner and i even reinstalled windows and put the brand new drivers
im leaning twoards a powersupply problem because im cutting it close with a 300 watt

Or heat. If you can check the temps in the case and stuff.
