AGP card closest to 7800GTX

I don't want to spend that much money. So I just want the best AGP card that's almost as good as the 7800GTX. This card can be both ATi and Nvidia.

x850 is the most powerful agp card out of the box, i believe.

There is no AGP card close to the 7800GTX. X850XTPE would be the closest but there really is no comparison.

I back that post, took the words right outta me. The 7800GTX SMASHES the X850XTPE, but the X850XTPE is still the closest. It costs around 350 bucks:

That is a PRETTY GOOD deal, not the best i've seen, but its still good enough that if i had agp, i would get it.

You could get a 7800GT for $350...which also smashes the X850XTPE.

I think the eVGA motherboard also comes with the 7800GT.

is that board any good and if so would it be good for a dual core 3800+ and a 7800GTX? Also what is the best board out now? I'm thinking the new asus but not sure

Asus, hah!

The eVGA motherboard is decent. Its nothing special, but it has all the nice features and stuff.

As for the best motherboard out there; DFI Lanparty NF4 Ultra-D (non-SLI), and the DFI Lanparty NF4 SLI-DR (SLI).

Overclocking or not, those motherboards are the best.

If totally not overclocking; MSI K8N Neo4-F.

EVGA board is good. Not the best but it does very well overclocking with the newer BIOSes.
