was looking at that, and some said keep it cool it makes the hd live longer...since i only have one HD with more space than ill ever need, i might get another for my bday, and put in RAID 0...well is that cooler worth it?

yeah i think its worth it, keeps ure hd cooler which is always good and its not that hard on the wallet... -

Not worth the extra noise and wiring, unless you have serious heat issues like putting 2, 10,000rpm drives next to each other. Just space your drives sensibly and ensure adequate venting for your case and case fans. Money's probably best spent on a good 120mm case fan which will benefit all components.Comment

oh, i was going to place my hd in the rear top exhaust when i get my new case, so that fan can pull away anyhead around it, i sure that should be good enough right? i just order my self the Thermaltake XASERComment
