im abouit to buy my new pc and im sure this is what im getting, im going to buy another gig of ram the ram doesnt matter but i just want to see if its an ok pc.

549 euros

intel pentium 4 2.93 ghz
nVidia 6200 256 mo
512 ram
Dvd rm 16.0

si is it good or not? and what settings will i be able to play Bf2 with the video card and 1.5 gigs of ram?

What is your price range? Go AMD if you can. The 6200 is gonna kill you in-game. Get atleast a 6600GT. The 512 should be 1GB or more if you can.

i know, but i have about a 600 euro price range, i dont really care how good the graphics are; just as long as it plays.(and doesnt lag to much:p)
and like i said ill be buying another gig of ram after a while. But is it a good
computer for its price? also i dont know anything about overclocking but can i overclock anything on the pc?

It will lag, alot. The price is about average though.

my friend has 1 gig of ram and a fx5700 and it doesnt lag at all, even on a 64 full player server

I used to have that card and believe me, it's not good at all for this game. Really. 1 gig of RAM, it's been said before, it wont run the game smoothly.

Do you mainly want this PC for gaming? If so, don't get it.

well its not only for gaming, but after a while i will buy more ram and a 6600 or a 6800 but im just buying this one coz its the best, cheapest pc near where i live. all i wanted to know if bf2 would work ok on it, im use to having my games lag, the pc i have now suks its like 5 years old! ! ! :laugh:
so can u answer my ques? will it run bf2 at all? or will it just shut down or will it be like i cant even move because its so laggy? what will my fps be?

It will run bf2 yeah. I didn't know you were going to upgrade, you should of said, I wouldn't of been so negative!:p But yeah, it's fine for a base computer.
