    Odd Mouse Problems

    Heres the setup:
    • Logitech LX 500 Wireless Optical Mouse (Part of the Wireless Desktop LX500 Package, up to date drivers)
    • eVGA GeForce 7800GT 256 (un Oced with up to date drivers)
    • Asus A8N-E Mobo with GForce4 chipset (updated chipset and BIOS)
    • AMD 64 X2 4200+ Dual Core Processor (2.21 Physical Clock Speed)
Yesterday I came home and tried palying some HL2 only to find that when I tried moving the mouse around to look, it lagged. Keep in mind that until that moment I had not altered anything on the computer since it had last worked. In fact, I had been playing B.O.S just a few hours before. Now when I say lag I don't mean that there was a problem with the mouse connection but the game actually lagged when I went to move around. I tested this by reloading a weapon and trying to turn and the animation for reloading got really choppy. I reinstalled all of my drivers and everything and got the same problem. Updated by MOBO chipset drivers, same thing. Uninstalled and re-installed the mouse, same thing. Tried a USB optical mouse to see if it was maybe just that connection, same problems. Now here is the REALLY strange part...when I "re-connect" the wireless mouse (click the white button on the base then click the button on the bottom of the mouse) it works perfectly for about five seconds then goes back to lagging the game everytime I try to turn. I've replaced the batteries and tried several different positions for the mouse reciever but to no avail. I would appreciate if somebody could help with this as my gaming is hindered until it is fixed.

Come on guys I really need this fixed before I can play anything.

PS: It gets even odder, only BoS does not have the mouse lag

Yes nothing happened, and that wouldn't lag the GAME.

                  Re: Odd Mouse Problems

                  Its not the mouse because:
                  1. That wouldn't affect how the graphics run on the computer
                  2. I've switched mice and still got the same problem
