anything you put together today will be obsolete tomorrow. it's the way of the technology world. at least the dual 30" Cinema Displays would be just as good tomorrow as they would today.

water cooling? bah. i had a water cooling system once (had it installed at CompUSA) and it ended up leaking all over the components. fortunately it was under warantee by CompUSA and i got all new components out of the deal.

BTW...Its not my pc am not crazy but I went to a LAN Party and saw this pc and he told me hes specs...and i was like OHHH MAMA SITA!!! He's got freaking 1200 gigs in that beast!!

CPU: FX-57 water cooled or with a Big Typhoon on it
Memory: 4 1gb sticks of OCZ gold/plat ram, or 2 2gb sticks of OCZ gold/plat ram
HD: Seagate Barracuda 500GB
Sound Card: X-Fi Platnium Pro
Video Cards: 2x512mb X1800XTs in crossfire water cooled orZalman VF-700-CU
Cooling: Danger Den custom WC with Silver TDX s939 CPU block, and Acetal MAZE 4 gpu block
Case: Thermaltake Tai-Chi (kinda looks wierd but it's awesome)
Monitor: IDK (i don't know)

1000 times better performance with 1 AMD 64 FX-57 versus 2 top-end opterons? uhhhh... no. no way.

edit: and it's not the same price as the one i posted. you included a 24" Dell LCD, mouse, etc. that are external components. i hit over 6 grand with only internals. :p

It all relavant, some people will miss $10 some $1000, Live and let live. its their money why should any one care. As far as obsolete???? keep watching your Black and White TV and listening to your 8 track...
