I am not shure but I think so, the chipset is way smaller then that cooler on it and I think the zalman passive cooler it's base is smaller but it's just high

You can always dremel a fin or too off. If you want one I've got one I'll send you for $5 shipped, unopened. I got it for my last MOBO then ended up upgrading before I put it on.

Hey danger den has a chipset block what is made just for the ASUS mobo, but that is if you are wanting to water cool it.
