Hardware Causing Freezes ?

Since the beggining of BF2 i have had freezing problems during game which always clears up but normally i find myself dead by then,5 or so seconds these freezes last for and i have been unable to find the fault,my fps is ok it isnt that and i could add my hardware to this post but i have seen other posts and people have different hardware who also have this problem,its annoying and painful and would like to know if anyone else experiences this or has a good solid cure for it.

Yeah, I see a lot of people getting that kind of freezes, and like you said, it doesn't seem hardware related, I can't confirm tho. Maybe it's something in their coding that just isn't right. I'm sorry I can't help more .

Well, do you have 2 gigs of ram?

yes i have 2 gb pc 2700,9800 tx or pro or whatever 2800+ cpu ok msi motherboard allright hard drive nothing special but more than good enough to play bf2,BT 2mb connection.....

Well the "or whatever" on your video card is pretty significant. The Pro vs the XT, two different cards.

Did you try cleaning and updating your drivers for the 9800? If not try that. Also unless you have a seperate sound card, your sound rendering should be set to software, or its pulling on system resources which could be causing it as well.
