I've heard good things about the card. Is this a good deal? Has anyone else purchased refurbished merchandise from Newegg? I was also thinking about a new x800gt or gto. Is the GTO any better than the GT? WHat would be the best purchase if all the cards are about the same price?

Depends on the rest of your system. Its only as good, in most cases, as the worst/slowest piece of hardware you have. Good memory is a must, so is cpu, gfx card, mobo, hard drive/s and psu!! If your unsure, post your specs..Originally posted by element365

1gig corsair ram (2x512) I will upgrade to 2gigs later
SATA150 - Hitachi 160GB 7200RPM 8MB Cache HD
