Hey guys, im thinking of gretting a new laptop. Do any of you know a good laptop/website/company that lets youcustomise te laptop and buy without OS?

Dell's new laptop, the XPS M170 is also the first to have the go7800GTX. And although they are the same specs, it all comes down to the price. Sager all the way!

Yea those Sager's are cheap man. Only thing is i dont live in US so ill have to get it shipped iover, and thats gonna cost...

It's a good thing I live right by them (Southern California, USA). By the way, did you check their website? http://www.sagernotebook.com/index.html And according to another forum, it seems the Dell XPS m170 is a pain to OC, compared to the Sager.

nice...can a go7800 be added to a laptop? because my school next week is giving us a laptop its already good as it is, think its worth $2000

Laptops are not upgradeable as far as videocard. The xps gen2 can upgrade to 7800GTX w/ a bios flash (i9300 also). Sagers w/ a 6800ultra can upgrade to the 7800GTX also (certain models). These are the only upgrades for laptops.

Thats exactly what ive been thinking, sure its good if it can do school work, but its 10000 times better if it can play BF2 wireless in class :p (our school has wireless connections throughout it).
