    Overheating- but not sure what part is.

    Ok well i installed the speedfan program... and ran it, and well one of my temps is High, and im not directly sure which part it is that is overheating, here is the screenie.




    Anyhelp would be apreciated.

      Well im guessing its a sensor somehwere thats not connected or something, and just picking up some of the exess heat.

        Unconnected sensors dont usually show any value that makes sense. Unless you are sitting outside and it is snowing I cant imagine any part of your rig to be 8 C. One way to check is this:

        Run Prime95, this is a CPU only intens application, the sensor that shoots up will be your CPU. Run say 3dmark and run only the tests that stress the graphics card to find which indicator shoots up. And do a diskdefrag, that last one should increase the temperature of mainly your drive. That should eliminate some unknowns.

            I would ditch that program and get Everest. Check to see if same or diff. Make sure all your bios stuff is updated. Sometimes it will cause goofy readings.
