2x 6600gt's in sli or single 7800gt!!!

I wanna upgrade my video card but scared off system bottlenecking if i get a too powerful video card. If i have to I'm willing to upgrade ram and psu. any suggestions anyone?:)
here r my system specs
AMD athlon 3500+venice core
gigabyte k8n ultra sli mobo
1gb kingston pc 3200 ddr ram(2x512 in dual channel)
1x gigabyte 6600gt
120 gb maxtor hdd(diamond max 10)
350w antec psu
1x dvd DL burner
512k/512k dsl connection

A single 6800gt is better than 2 6600gt's in SLI. 68gt and 78 should be your only options.

You will DEFINATELY need a new PSU for either card above.

Sell your current 6600 and buy a 6800gt. Buy the 78 or newer model when they go down in price.

I'll probably get the 7800gt as its only $100 more than the 6800gt and sell my 6600gt and get a new psu.
Is my ddr ram ok for this set up?
CPU-Z says my default timings are 3.0-3-3-8

I would say get 2 Gigs, you wont be ale to run all on high unless you have 2 Gigs anyway.

Looks like I'm gonna get da 7800gt,2x 1gig sticks an a new psu.
Could u recommend which 2x 1 gig sticks for me to get as long as they are NOT corsair pro or expert line sticks as I've been told they don't fit properly onto my mobo, which is a gigabyte k8n ultrs sli, this is because the ram slots r close together an the heatspreaders push them apart.

Try looking for Kingston Value RAM, ive heard its ok.
