Re: Which 7800GTX???
honestly, you would be much better to get the regular evga. the ram/gpu is the same. then, get the nvsilencer or the zalman vf700-cu or seomthing like that.
they will cool better, and overall cost less. the evga KO is ~550 on newegg, the regular one is ~470. spend that extra money on a better cooler, and just overclock yourself.
also, evga has the best warrantee (well, same as bfg) and it has the "step-up" program, which allows you to step up to a new video card, and pay little in the process.

The best out there is the Asus 7800GTX TOP, with Arctic Cooling and 1.6 memory clock and 490 core clock.

Ok, I'm going to water cool 2 GTX's. So does it matter which brand I get? And OC myself right?Originally posted by rhohanhonestly, you would be much better to get the regular evga. the ram/gpu is the same. then, get the nvsilencer or the zalman vf700-cu or seomthing like that.

Actually, BFG sells gtx's with watercooling heatsinks on their website, though I don't know where you actually buy them.Originally posted by gsxr310Ok, I'm going to water cool 2 GTX's. So does it matter which brand I get? And OC myself right?

Don't know if this will help ya much but here is a benchmark with a couple different brands of the 7800GTX and how they run normal and OCed in BF2.

Re: Which 7800GTX???
Just get the cheapest one, as you can see from that graph above, the difference in fps won't be huge. Buy the cheapest one, get good cooling, and overclock that baby.
