will i hit high graphics with this system

1gig high gaming RAM
PSU 500wat dual fan antec

i been asking around and people say yes and some say no so im asking all you lot how do you think i will run it medium or high i doubt it but even ultra high :P

I doubt it will run all on high, but you will get nice framerates with a setting or 3 maybe on medium.

Depends on what resolution you run at, I'm thinking some high and lights and shadows medium. No AA, if you run AA, you'll be on medium/low.1024x768

you'll get it to run nicely with a few mediums. I'd shoot for medium on lighting and maybe the dynamic lighting if you want.

Get another gig of RAM and you would be golden....those 6600GT cards are pretty impressive.

one other thing, the textures is what REALLY sucks down your RAM so go with medium on textures to get a smooth expierience without the stuttering. 2 gigs will really open up the high settings for you. This game EATS UP ram.

If you had 2 gigs of RAM, you could probly put everything on high with no Dynamic Shadows/Lighting and you might be able to pull off 4x AA but 2x AA for sure.

I used to run a Go5700 with 512 mb RAM and 3.4 CPU before I built my system and I could play on all low with geometries and terrain on medium but I could have 4xAA.

No, 2gigs maybe but the FPS will take a hit. The Graphics card needs a boost too. This game requires mucho resources to run.

As a reference my system runs on about 50fps average on 64 player maps all on high. Your system will be lagging like crazy.:|:
