tried another 512, with the current 2 512's i have. till doesnt work, looks like im just gona have to go buy 2 1 gig sticks

Yes that may be what you have to do it is hard for me to tell you excact online what it could be too.

you said 3 sticks??? remember once you do that, you lose the DDR, DDR only works with even pairs, yeah going from 1 to 1.5 is good, but if you loose DDR is really not worth it, just my input.

Your using the wrong terminology. DDR is the type of ram, you are meaning Dual Channel.

I just bought 2 gigs (2X1gig) off of newegg.com for a total of 212$

It's kingston Valueram and if you're not going to overclock it then this s*** RULES!!!!!!

Newegg.com is the way to go...

i got 2 1 gig sticks of ram, bf2 works like magic now, no more stutter going into commander mode, freakin beatiful! thanks fellas, just had to spend more money =)
