    DVD-Burner Problem

    I am having a problem with my DVD burner recently. It seems to be lagging up programs and such as when I sometimes use heavy intensive applications, the computer freezes and I see a loading icon. Then the DVD-burner goes on to make a weird clicking noise and gets extremely loud. What is the problem?

      Have you tried updating the firmware from the manufacturers?

      I only suggest this as i had a similar prob with an MSI drive about 6 months ago.
