    Best Router

    Looking for a bit of advice.

    Wanting to buy myself a new combined wireless modem/router. Any recommendations as to which one I should get??

      Im a Netgear fanboy, but only cause Ive used nothing else. My Wired DG824 has been brilliant over the past 2 years.

          Linksys is always a good choice. Easy to setup/use. Technically there is other things like a 90nm processor that you can hack to get increased performance but thats a bit over my head even. My friend did it and said it was awesome, he fried his though, no surprise there he OC'd it by about 1000%, lol.

                  I use netgear now, and I have noticed that sometime I have to wait to connect to the internet after my computer boots up. Thats the only downside to my wireless router. Which is why I said Linksys because I never had a problem with my old Linksys :) Not that this is much of a problem.

                      I've had a wired Netgear DG834 for about 6 months now and its a great piece of kit. Dead easy to set up and a solid performer too, I just had to plug it in and everything was detected automatically leaving only the username and password to my ADSL account to enter...
