That's impossibel. 19C = 60F, there is no way your CPU is below room temprature. Whatever your using to read yourtemps is WAYYYY off.
I agree, dont trust outside programs. Unless your using gas and cooled liquid, you cant go below room temp. Find a motherboard monitor from the manufacturer to correctly get the temps.

That temp does seem a bit strange. Unless you live in Alaska :laugh: My CPU runs @ 36Cidle w/ a Tt Tower and AS5.
I just use the cooling that came with the thing.. hasha.. its just air, i have 2 fans, one exhaust and one on the heatsink, my case has this kinda.. umm.. thing that goes from the side of the case where there is a grill over the fan on the chip so that it cets better air flow, but thats all i have.
And its not reading the temps wrong as both Everest and my BIOS give me the same temperatures.
The fan on the heatsink is good though, its running at 3500 rpm, i dont know about the other one, but it looks kinda biggish...
Anything between 30 - 60 degrees is fine for a modern CPU. Dont listen to anyone who says otherwise. My old Athlon 1900 has been running for years at 60 degrees without a single problem still going strong now in my dads PC.

I checked my PC...mine idles not at 16 but 30...It came up 16 after exiting BF2 but went up to 30...Sorry about my earlier post and confusion mate.

True, but the temperature does sound about right doesnt it?
And i thought the main issues was that programs like Everest could sometimes be alot different to the BIOS reading, and that these were far more reliable..
Well you know that they make a 7800 that is pre overclocked and it is under warranty I just cant for the life of me think of the manufacturer I wanna say BFG or something like that the card will look like 7800OC plus if you are overclocking you want to use watercooling over AIR for more stable use.
Yea, trouble is i dont feel like putting more $$$ into my PC at the moment, and i dont know how much water cooling costs, but im guessing its not cheap. Also the thought of water near my comp does not sit easy with me... and are they noisy?
The water pumps are not near as noisy as a fan. As far as water goes in the computer they make Fluid XP+ it is non-conductive meaning you can literaly hose your computer with it and it wont fry anything! check this out http://fluidxp.com/ they have a demostration somewhere on that site too.
You can get a water cooing kit(basic) for about 100.00US EVERCOOL WC-202 VGA & CPU look into that one it is cheap and works but remember to use fluid xp. I think it is wasy install too, but ive been doing it for a lil hop this helps
