    Building new PC need help

I'm in a rut here guys, I play games more than anything on my computer and I find myself playing BF2 more than anything. Cash is a bit tight right now so I'll have to buy piece by piece. Here are my current system specs...

    Athlon64 3500+ with an XP-90
    Abit AV8 939pin mobo
1gb corsair xms pro c2 (the lower end xms pro)
BFGTech 6800GT OC'ed past Ultra somewhere
550watt psu that came with my X-Navigator case (cheapo lol)
    160gb Hitachi 7200rpm

    I plan on getting this:
    Asus A8N SLI-Deluxe
2gb Corsair or OCZ ram low latency
    550watt Antec True Power 2.0
A 7800GTX probably ASUS TOP due to high clock stock
Either an x2 4400 (with OC) 4800 maybe OC, or anFX 55 or 57 and OC

My problem right now is which to buy first, I want to have a gaming pc while building this new one and needless to say I'll be using some of the parts from my old system for my new one. A friend is offering me the A8N and a 160gb HD for my old 6800GT so if I got the card first I could swap everything into the new mobo and run an old cpu/ram for a while. On the other hand I could run a new cpu in my AV8 and use it for gaming until I can get the card and end up picking up the rest of the new parts minus ram within another payday or two.

I've been trying to figure out what to do for atleast a week now, I whine thinking about having to rebuild more than once but maybe I should just be patient and wait to build the new pc all at once? Any advice or opinions would be appreciated.

Re: Building new PC need help

The system you plan on getting is ownage, I don't see what else more you want.

    Good Motherboard
    Good RAM
    Good Power Supply
Top of the line Vid Card
Get the FX57 if you can, 55 if you can, then go down the line.

I just read your post again, and you are buying them piece by piece to add to your current system. First, buy the video card. Then processor. Then RAM.
