Radeon 9600 FPS

ok, i have a radeon 9200(yes i know it sucks), and i been looking for a vid card that will run EVERYTHING on med for bf2 without going down past 20 FPS and i was wondering how good is the 9600 128MB AGP.

I have a mobility radeon 9600 64mb and run at like 50 fps 1024 x 782, x2 aa, and several settings on med the rest on low.

Man, I've been posting my specs up all over lately. Well, here's another one. I run a 9600 AIW PRO card (actually faster than the standard 9600 PRO). I have it setup in game as follows:

800x600 75mhz
Ultra High Geometry
Ultra High Texture Filtering
Low Dynamic Lighting and Shadows
(everything else on medium)
4x AA
100% View Distance

It looks pretty good to me, and I get about 42-45 fps steady when I OC to 450 and 360. (50 and 40 higher than stock, with no voltage change, and no artifacts) It never drops below 32fps, either. I get about 40 without OCing. Hope this helps you.

How much are you looking to spend? Consider getting the ATI X700Pro.

Neg, if your gonna go with that you're better off with the 6600gt, and the lowest card I've seen play BF2 was on my cousin's computer. His specs:

P4 3.2 ghz
1 gig
5200 (Not over clocked or anything)

And according to fraps he was getting about no less than 20fps and it ran smooth never had any lag. A 9600se which my friend has I've also seen play well.

well maybe you could get a ATI x800GT PCI Express X16.. that wat im getting.
