Is my cpu bottlenecking my pc?

I have the following rig:

AMD X2 3800
XFX 6800GT
Audigy 2 ZS
gig of corsair extra low latency
A8n-SLI Deluxe

I only get about 30 to 80 fps with 60 average with all settings on high except antialisaing on 2x, texures, filtering, and dynamic lights and shadows on medium.
1024x768

I see people with very similair setups maybe even slightly worse with all maxed settings and similair FPS. Is my CPU bottlenecking?

You need more RAM, your processor is fine.

Its ram for sure, your cpu is fine for bf on high.

OK........he has a gig, hes fine. Expecially since its low latency ram. I don't think ur card will be bottlenecked by any of your other hardware specs. If you want a performance increase then maybe you should get more ram. Otherwise your computer is perfect for Bf2, you should be able to max all settings on high.

I agree. You need over 1Gb to have textures on high. I have everything on high but textures and it runs as sweet as. Put textures on high and it pretty much runs from the Swapfile and chugs.

For smooth, lag free play with all on high, you need 2 Gigs.. easy as that... :)

my specs are:

Asus GA-K8NXP-SLI motherboard
2 gigs of kingston ram
GeForce 7800gtx graphics card
AMD Athlon 3200 Venice (overclocked from 2.0 to 2.3)

I run everything on High, AA, 100x Draw distance. at 50-70 fps solid.

2 gig ram would be good.

and what would you guys say about my comp?
