I upgraded from a 3200 to 4000, and I do get better FPS now. I was averaging around 40-60 before, I now rarely get dips below 50 and I get a constant 50-100. Next upgrade is RAM.

It took me a while to figure out how to take off the Heatsink/Fan because I was scared I would break it and there's a little lever I had to pull pretty hard. Other then that it's simple.Comment

I'm absolutely amazed. Is that the only thing you changed? You didn't reinstall windows or anything?Originally posted by NitemareI upgraded from a 3200 to 4000, and I do get better FPS now. when i went to take off the stock heatsink and fan, i didnt think the as5 was going to stick so good, that the whole cpu came off with it, and i looked at the mobo and was like "wft where my cpu" friend next to me was laughing, it was stuck to the heatsink, that lil piece of s*** plastic that holds the lever down brokeComment
