    Re: New PC

It'll play the game alright, that machine has 1gig or RAM. I'd recommend an AMD based machine for gaming, and possibly a 6800gt for a video card. Where are you purchasing this computer, and would you feel comfortable building your own? You're much better off building your own, or purchasing the parts and having a local PC shop assemble it for you.

That'll play just fine. I'd just stick with that and enjoy.

            Re: New PC

Well, AMD has always been known as a gaming processor. Intel is better for video editing and stuff like that. The 6800GT is a better card then the LE and you'll be able to run at higher video settings. You will be able to play with the rig you posted. Gaming rigs aren't cheap, I don't know how Euro's translate to US dollars, but a complete Gaming rig w/monitor that's med/high end will run you around $1200 US, if you build it yourself. Prebuilt machines generally run $2000 US.

My friend, that is a deal.
              (dammit wheres the euro symbol?!)
              390 euros = $473 = £267

I would consider buying that if i had a spare £300 lying around.
It will play BF2 fairly well, and i recommend that with any extra money you buy another 1Gb of ram.

They'll both play alright. The later will play better, I'd spend the extra 10 euros.

                      Re: New PC

Depends on the resolution you set it at. I'd say 1024x768 all med 2xAA. You don't see a big difference in graphics from med to high....just med to low. Atleast I don't notice anything.
