Umm..that is some competition for the Nvidia Geforce 6600..but i think the 6600GT will be a stronger card, since its hiding the 6600GT in those benchmarks
. And why the hell is it comparing with the intel extreme graphics card? LOL...kinda pointless.. The inclusion of Shader Model 3.0 is nice though, may attract alot of ATi customers..

What are you talking about, from these benchmarks it's supposedly better than a GTX. I'm gonna have to call ******** though, there's no way it can be this much better for having 8 less pipelines...its clocks aren't THAT much higher..

holy ****..thats a good card, though the info is most definately biased. I bet they used some crappy driver for the geforce cards and the most optimized ones for the radeons. I might buy one of these if they ARE better than the 7800GTX in the future, but even a blind person knows that info is biased.Comment

I don't quite understand ATi, they're soon to be releasing cards that are competative with nvidia's previous generation? Maybe nvidia jumped the gun with all the features or ATi didn't see any need for them until now.
The only reason i think they would bring out the x1300 and i think the x1600, which will compete with the 6800's, is to have a hand in all sections of the market.
The whole Crossfire malarky is looking rather sweet aswell, and looks to bring some heavy competition to SLiComment

Yeah, if you click the link use the pulldown menu at the bottom to checkout the X1600 and x1800's I believe that's what the post is referring too. Sweet number too BTW, although at what cost?Comment

the x1800xl has the same specifications as the x800xt
the chart shows it destroying the 7800gt
thats not possible the 7800gt destroys the x800xt
im no nvdia fanboy but that must be a fake
the x850xt pe is less than 200mhz of the x1800xt speeds and thats not going to double its performance
unless those cards have more than 16 pipes after all

Rhis is from ATI they are going to make their product as appealing as possible to you dont listen wait for it to come out and some indipendant companies and sites such as tomshardware to do the tests then decide which is better. This source is from ATI so of course it is gna b biasedComment
