Re: which 68gt brand?
BFG has the best speeds...there's nothing wrong with XFX...I own an XFX 7800 GTX and it runs perfectly. Plus the XFX 6800 GT is cheaper than the others..

Re: which 68gt brand?
According to some reviews...Albatron is a good overclocker and is one of the coolest (temperature wise) cards. Anyway, i've heard that the BFG ones are very popular and are overclocked by the manufacturers in a way so that it wont damage your card..
Also heard the Leadtek 6800GT is good with a large heatsink and fan for cooling, though it will probably make a louder noise than the other cards..

Re: which 68gt brand?
I have an XFX6800GT and it runs very well. Temperature wise it doesnt go over 52degrees in a case temp of 35degrees. It uses the stock reference Nvidia HSF as do many other manufacturers so no change there.
Only problem with mine is that the memory only runs at 900Mhz instead of 1000Mhz and will only clock up to 960Mhz before failing the speed check. Still get exactly the same benchmarks as 1000Mhz versions so Im not fussed.

Re: which 68gt brand?
Why arent you pleased with the one that you have? you can unlock the pipes to a 16 pipe 6800 Gt and surpass ultra speeds if you have the limited edition evga 6800

Re: which 68gt brand?
No you can't. The gt and ultra have GDDR3, there is no way you can reach those speeds on a regular 6800.Originally posted by Sir.BOBSONATOR025Why arent you pleased with the one that you have? you can unlock the pipes to a 16 pipe 6800 Gt and surpass ultra speeds if you have the limited edition evga 6800
