ok so after my big explosion and the terrible customer services of the old PC store im sending it back and getting one off a more reliable store so heres what i've decided on so far:
Processor: AMD athlon 64 4000+
motherboard: Abit AN8 skt 939 PCI-E
RAM: Corsair TWINX1024-3200C2 DDR-DIMM (1024MB)
PSU: Fortron/Source powersupply ATX 550W 120MM SATA, 24 pin,EPS12v (is this good i want to get a reliable one)
case: coolermaster centurion 530
graphics card: XFX Geforce 7800GTX which comes overclocked to 490 mhz( im not sure whether the card will be unstable so could someone advize me on tht)
HD:Maxtor diamondmax 200GB SATA 7200RPM
and thats it so far so could you advise me on whether these are good choices and if not what i should get instead. Also because i still have lots of money which i had saved from after buying the PC that blew up i have about £500 which is about $900 i think and was thinking about buying a 21 inch monitor.
I already have a 17 inch but thought i could use one for playing and the other would have my desktop but aslong as i wasnt doing anything on the one with the desktop how much would it drag down the fps of the game on the 21incher if any???
PS could someone post a link for a UK store that sells a good 21 inch monotor for 500 quid with a response rate of about 8ms 4ms if you do i will give you a cookie!
