i might not know much about HD's or computer problems as such. But ask on any other computer forum ( www.overclock.net ) ( www.extremeoverclocking.com ) and they will say the same.

Google Qtec 650W PSU, read how many people are saying how crap it is and how they need to replace it.

Ask on those overclocking forums. I know you dont want to OC but they know the best PSU's.

oh yeah, F U im trying to help and you think im lying?

Hes fine with his current supply, as long as he is getting enough power to everything. He has plenty of power on his 12v rail so he's fine. You don't really need to buy a new PSU.

Damn, Q-TEC ,now I know what all the fuss is about :S
Definately put getting a new good PSU at the top of your PC buying list, I got a Q-TEC but it's powering my mothers Athlon 1GHz and Geforce 4 MX440 so I'm not really worried.

If everything works fine then it should mean nothing. You tried reading the manual? Perhaps some info in there.

I have never seen any reviews on that power supply. Should be a good one though ( considering the price).

                              Good luck man.
