    7800GTX go...

I already have a nice rig and am looking for a laptop for traveling purposes and to play games. do you think investing in the 7800GTX go is overboard? or is a 6800ultra go decent? price wise between the 2 cards is about 350USD.

Not too much difference tbh, plus you would probably need to invest in a cooling mat too since they get pretty hot.

Yah, I already looked in a laptop cooler... and it's not more than 50USD. So you think it's worthless.. in the long run?

I don't know if they make a 7800 go yet. But if they do, and all you have is a laptop for gaming, then go for it. If you have a desktop and your laptop is just for traveling, just go with the 68.

I don't think that the $350 increase in pprice justifies the extra performance, the 6800ultra is still a very good and capable card.

From what I heard, Dell just simply released a BIOS update for a 6800U GO to flash it to a 7800GO so must be quite similar. I'd say go with what you can find the best price on.
