LOW end budget system for BF2

Hey all, Most peeps seen or heard of me in lots games! But i have a friend who has under $400.00 for a system either amd or intel and what is a good system to build or what video card should be good? agp or pci ex?

Barebone systems are good too but which one? plus 512ram is the most to 1 gig ram so let's see who can help with this.

Thats about the minimum right there. Unless you want a 2800+ and socket 754.

My friend is buying a decent computer for 457 I think, go to www.ecollegepc.com and get the cheapest everything...without a video card. I doubt you are going to get a computer with a video card that can play bf2 for under 400 dollars.

Hey thanks all i have a extra hard drive a raptor sata 10,000 rp 36 gig so i need a mb/cpu/ram/floppy/videocard. I have figure out what the difference is on the cpu-fsb amd mb? Like what is 800mhz intel cpu 2.8 775 vs a amd 64 3000 with a 1000 fsb? mb?

My brother has a intel 2.6 478 800bus fsb with a msi 865 mb with a 1 gig ram and asus 256 6200 agp 8x video card and bf2 runs ok but needs more ram like 2 gigs?

6200 is the problem.
And what do you need a floppy drive for :laugh:
As a rule of thumb, dont bother with intel. AMD 64 processors reign supreme.
