Re: 6600 GT or regular 6800?
Alright, i'm getting mixed signals here. Some peeps are saying a vanilla, but others are saying the gt. I only have one gig of ram and a 3.0 ghz p4 HT comp, so will the ram be a bottleneck it i buy a gt and try to play on high? The GT is $300 on newegg (twice as much as vinilla). For the extra $150 i would spend i could get 512mb more ram, a dvd drive, and a Soundblaster audigy 2ZS (from mobo sound). Also in a few years, i will probaly upgrade to pci-express (and AMD!) so it might not be such a good idea to invest so much into a agp card (wereas i could transfere the sound card and dvd drive). Any thoughts?
