What should my next upgrade be?

    Currently this is my setup:
AMD Athlon 64 3200 (Venice core)
    2 GB (2x 512 + 1x 1024) Corsair Value Select DDR400
    XFX GeForce 7800 GTX
    Some ****ty 17" LCD
(Don't know it's response time, can't find any information on it. It's a Circuit City brand, bought it a while ago)

I am deciding which I should upgrade, my processor or RAM. If I am going to do either, these are my choices:

    Monitor: Samsung 915N 19" 8ms $335.99

    Another Monitor: Rosewill R910P 19" 8ms $259.99
We’re sorry, but this page does not existing. Please visit our home page for more information.

    RAM: 2 GB (2x1GB) Dual Channel OCZ High Performance DDR400 2-3-2-5 $264.41

why do you say that? I only have a 1.8 GIG prosseser in my Dell lap top (that I use for gameing) and a I have a good video card so that tells me vidio cards are more important than the prosseser.

Dude, I had a 2ghz P4 and the rest of the stuff in my sig. When I upgraded to the 3500+ I got a ~200% increase in performance. Proof that those who say there is no "bottleneck" or no need for good processors in BF2 don't have a clue.

Sound card can wait, that's the cheapest out of the three. I'm probably going towards the processor, but I'm not sure. Do monitors have any effect on FPS? I have a cheap ass monitor from circuit city (17" LiquidVideo LCD) and I don't even know its response time or anything about it, can't find anything on the internet.

Yes they do effect FPS. But double check the response time rating. Most manufactures put their grey-to-grey rating, "8ms" is not really that. So make sure its for full color.

The RAM will not make that big of a difference. My guess is only the timings are different, and they won't make a dramatic FPS jump.

My suggestion would be get a new X-fi sound card, or new monitor. My first would be the Sound Card.

If you were to buy a monitor you could hook them both up.
I'm not sure if you would benefit from it in any way but it'd be cool thats for sure.
