does any no how to i set it in the display settings for my 6800gt but when battlfield opens up the extended montior goes off any suggestions on how is it a setting in the bf2

hmm, because i had the same problem when i had a less res, now it works fine, since i have an old sucky crt, i use it show me the temps

I dont think you can have 2 monitors on when gaming? When I tried it the secondary monitor turns off.

all i do is run the span display witch extendes the monitor two fit 2 screens
the res is at 3360x1050 in windows and as high as i can get it the game is 1024x768 and that all it shows when i have the span display on
my specs are a p4 3.4 nvida 6200 256mb runs bf2 like a champ i just thought i try it out

Battlefield 2 wasnt made to run on two monitors. I use the 19"LCD for Bf2 and my 17" CRT For X fire ventrillo and the temps for my computer. Unless your some kind of programming genius with a degree from harvard it wont work.

Extended desktop will shut off when a full screen application is launched.

It will be nice when games start to support dual monitors.
Until then, there is nothing you can do (that I know of).
I would love to have the full screen map up on one monitor and the first person action on the other...that would be sweet

Well it would be awesome. You could have the game up on one screen and a map/spawn screen on the other. It would be very nice.
