    Memory

    Right now, I have..

    1GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz- 2DIMMs

Does this mean I have 2 x 512? And how many memory slots does the standard computer come with?

Do I need to buy the exact same RAM if I want to upgrade? (to 2 GIGS)

Do I need to buy the same brand, or just the same type (DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz?)

And if I do have two sticks of that RAM, could I just buy one stick of the and would it work fine?

Also, any 7800 users out there? How does it run? What's the difference between a GTX and just a 7800 GT? Thanks!

Oh, and, does anyone know any Canadian Company, that has a website for computer parts, besides tigerdirect?

    Thanks!

    - Yes.

And how many memory slots does the standard computer come with? - Without knowing what motherboard you have can't say, but most of the DDR2 boards have four slots.

Do I need to buy the same brand, or just the same type (DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz?) - Same brand if you can (for compatibilty if nothing else, same goes for type).

Oh, and, does anyone know any Canadian Company, that has a website for computer parts, besides tigerdirect? - Good place to start,

Sort of the Canadian version of Pricewatch.com.
