    Which is better, getting a 74GB 10k RPM drive or 2x80GB 7,200RPM in S-ATA Raid 0?

      Depends on your application. Gaming only Raid 0 the drives and you will get great prformance. Or raid 2 10k for the advantage.

              The main difference you will notice is that the load times and access times to the hard drives are a little faster. I would go for capacity and get the larger of the drives.
