Yes sorry its another "will my rig run bf2" type of post,
I currently run an fx5200 128mb AGP card, yeh i have to run everything on LOW at 1024x768.
CPU is 2.06gig intel w 1gig of 3200ddr ram.
I want to upgrade my graphics card so bf2 looks a LOT better than it does. Anyhow im completely and utterly confused as to which gfx card to buy, what with different pixels per pipelines, different memory bandwidths, some factory Oc some not.
The only thing they all seem to have in common is they are all WAAAAAY to expensive for my pocket :cry:
So.., i was wondering (yes i did plenty searching in forums and now im more confused than ever) I did have my eye on the 6800GT but again its just too much for me to warrent the dosh on a piece of hardware for a game.
I did miss out on an fx5950 256mb for £89 recently i couldve kicked myself, but even then i dont know if it wouldve performed ok in my machine.
Does anyone have any ideas on which card would be best to run on the highest settings on my rig but something a little more realistic price wise to fit my pocket that will do the job?
I cant really be spending more than £150 if thats anything to go by, and if some people could provide screenshots/lower spec card make/model that would be great too.
BTW im open minded bout the whole nvidia/ATI thing.., i just want it to work well.

<added > BTW Yeh i know theres a minimum spec list for BF2 but it so oftent than not doesnt work well as a guide as ppls machines are very different.
