Re: Athlon XP -> Athlon 64: worth the price?
i would also like to add that i went from an athlon 2700+ to a athlon 64 3400+ with the 1MB L2 cahce and my game is MUCH smoother and dont get the occasional stuttering that i used to get anymore, and the best thing was it was under $300 (under 200 once i sold my old processor, motherboard, and heatsink)
plus now i can use all my drives at the same time (i have 5, what can i say i like having 650gb of space and 2 burners
) since i got a mobo that can do 6, my old one only did 4 so i would have to have one unplugged all the time.
