    MOBO choices.

I'm ordering a new PCI-e mobo tomorrow and wanted some input. Anyone really know if the Lanparty version is worth the extra $40? I"m leaning towards yes, but still havn't decided.

    DFI nF4-DAGF

    or

    DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D

Thse are the only two boards I'm considering ordering due to the combo special, so please don't reccomend any other boards.

Um, lanparty is better. It has more usb connectors, so you can plug more stuff in. It comes with SATAII, so be sure to get SATA II, and not SATA 150. It's a bit better hard drive. The lanparty also has a better chipset, it has ultra, the reg doesn't. And the Lanparty offers better sound quality with a better ALC integrated sound. Not sure about if it's worth the extra bux.

Sata II doesn't really matter to me, and integrated sound doesn't matter, but I'm still leaning towards the LanParty.

Better chipset, possibility of modding to SLI, dual lan, more PCI-e slots, and believe it would be a better overclocker.

Oh, yeah, i forgot about SLi, and yeah, better chipset generally means better OCing. the lanparty is what i would recommend if you MIGHT go with SLi.

N/m on the whole thing. EVGA is running the thing with the free mobo again so I"m going to go with the EVGA one.

Why don't you go with another MSI board? They make great Mobo's.

Because it's either $400 for a 7800GT and SLI mobo

                    or

$375 ish for a 6800gt and MSI or DFI mobo...

Not hard to make that choice.
