all of you saying if viewsonic, NEC, or whatever is better, most of them use the same exact LCD monitor. They're just brand names that use a certain LCD monitor, put it together and say they have this much ms. Viewsonic and Dell for one use Philips/LG LCD monitors and most LCDs use philips/LG. A few brand names such as Samsung and LG use their own manufactured LCD monitor for their own line. When you here Viewsonic saying they have 2ms or 4ms it can be misleading by so many ways. For once the real LCD monitor Viewsonic uses may really have 6ms but viewsonic can say they did "stuff" to it to make it 2ms or 4ms. Also, Grey to Grey is the better way to define ms since its harder to switch from a certain grey to grey. Its easier to switch from white to black because its a matter of turning a pixel "On or Off". Anandtech and Toms hardware has great articles on choosing a right LCD monitor
