Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
I know a lot of you out there have a great deal of experience in setting up computers and are very knowledgeable when it comes to this stuff. With that said, I'm looking for a great lcd monitor. Yes, I've done a search for other posts. But I would like to get some updated information now.
Well LCDs for gaming are simply the smaller the response time, the better. So for gaming, the Viewsonic X-series 3ms LCDs are the best.
For LCDs in general that are good for gaming (but not best) I'd say the Dell 2005FPW. I got mine a month ago and I love this thing to death. Unfortunately BF2 doesn't support real Widescreen.

Yep, the viewsonic ones with 3ms, 4ms average response time are the best. Not the best image quality, but it gives you no ghosting at all, but for others, dell gives you a great deal, and sony has unbelievable image quality.
Seems from the reviews that I have read, Sony doesnt have a great following.
Well, the new ones do, but they're a bit pricey, 600 bucks original price for the new 19 inch. BUt yeah, the ones before that weren't very good, anyways, dell gives the best deal of them all no comp. Viewsonic Xseries gives you no problems at all with ghosting.
If you plan on going with a dell monitor keep an eye on www.passwird.com , and www.spoofee.com they are always up to date with the latest dell coupons. sometimes you'll see the 40% off and stackable ones.
is 16ms a bad response time? i dont notice anything ingame.
16ms response time or lower is good, 8ms or lower is a real gaming lcd. The best gaming LCD out is the Viewsonic X-series, an average 4 ms. BUt again, CRTs do better in games than any LCDs, but put strain on you eyes, and it takes up a lot of space.
while were on the subject im looking into buying a new LCD 19-21" price is under 1500 and was wondering if this one was good help and comments mych appreciated http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824002118 (and was also wondering what does G-to-G- mean other word Gray-to-Gray)??? Thank You

I agree, i love my CRT but it seems that they are dying out and that really annoys me. When i upgrade i don't want to switch to LCD.
Hell i love my chunky space eater, and sure i'm willing to get eye cancer.
(Disclaimer: CRT may not cause cancer of any type, but than again it seems that everything causes cancer these days)
for a big lcd i have a samsung SyncMaster 213T, its 21.3" and man the picture quality is awesome, it has a 25ms response time (cant really get lower than that because its so big)
i dont notice any ghosting when i play bf2 but maybe its because i adjusted to it or something, but it definately doesnt effect my gameplay negatively, and the picture quality is better than my 19" CRT, i have them side by side for dual monitor display and there is no question that the samsung lcd looks better than the CRT, the colors are more vibrant and text and stuff is more crisp. Plus the main thing i like is that the native resolution is 1600x1200, which i really need for the space when i do coding. it was the main reason i got the monitor, most lcds only have a native resolution of 1280x1024. Also the game looks perfect @ 800x600, maybe perhaps because its exactly half of the native resolution so it doesnt cause any problems, if you get one with a native resolution of 1280x1024 you will probably have to run it at that or have it not look as good.
I run a Samsung 930b 19" LCD w/8ms response time. I have no ghosting and absolutely no problems with it. It's under $300 too, can't go wrong there. Sometimes you don't have to pay alot to get alot. Sounds like a sales slogan doesn't it? Hope I don't get sued.
