6600 help >.<

Ok, I just got my new 6600 GT. I've been playing the game on a 5200, on low.
But, anyway, I just got the new card, installed the 77.30 driver, and went to play on medium. It looked great on single player, so, I decided to go try online, as soon as the menu came up, I crashed to desktop. Anyone have an idea of what to do? I really wanna play with new and improved gfx, any help?

Did you try more than once, or just one time? Try re-installing BF2, doing a disk defragment, disk cleanup, and also try the newest 78.01 drivers.

Iv got a 6600 GT too, but iv never had the problem, Sounds like crap drivers, use the 78.01 drivers, same as what iv got and iv not had any problems

emmmm make sure the nvidia display settings are all set to application allowed as on my 7800GTX if i set it to 8x AA id a istant CTD

And if its OC dont OC it BF2 sometimes doesnt like it!!!

Make sure you PROPERLY install you video drivers. Refer to the stick at the top of the forum on how to do this.
