Um, 1024x768 would be high, 1280x960 would be about medium. It seems ok, not too shabby. It might help if you could upgrade your video card to something like a 6800GT, or X800XL, then you can run high all the time.

well since its an "alienware" motherboard im guessing you are wasting money on an alienware and not building a pc for 3/4ths the price?

Yeah, plus, chances are, you already have things that manufacturers give you, like Microsoft office, and probably Windows XP as well.

it isnt that hard to build a pc, im sure their are guides on the internet, you will be getting ripped off if you buy from alienware

plus the price will be around 1250 which isnt that bad becuz im getting a sub,speakers,seinhiesr headset and other gadgets

Nah, it has a 2.8ghz processor and only a 9800XT, it seems a bit old IMO. Build your own is better, mine cost 934 bucks, i had to spend an extra 70 because of the cheap power supply that fried, but my machine is better than the first one you posted in pretty much all ways

that alienware system on ebay is dated such as old agp port 32 bit pentuim

especially the 9800xt

you might have to upgrade in another year if you like to run games pritty smooth that might be difficult due to the age of the board

The money you would spend on that alienware you could probably build a top of the line pc.. which would last you a good number of years however if you bought ebay thing it would be like buying a dead dog.

alienware is all about marketing, i know so many people that think alienware is the best, its like the whole ipod thing "OMG GET AN IPOD THEY ARE THE BEST!@#!@#" when they arent
