Yes, there are million of provements for that. Although I like Intel, AMD is just better for gaming. Intel scores better on office tools etc.Comment

The Athlon X2 are duel core, so they're used to run more than 1 program at once, or run a server. The Athlon 64FX is just a super version of an Athlon 64. If you're getting a computer for gaming or not servers, get either the Athlon 64 / 64FX...I think, hehe.Comment

Actually the 4000+ runs at 2.4Ghz with 1MB L2 Cache. Bear in mind that AMD's perform more instructions per Mhz than Intel which explains why is on par or ahead with games. Enhanced on die memory controller helps too.
