I have an EpoX EP-9NPA+Ultra motherboard and will be soon installing my XP-90 heat sink. Does anyone know if I will need to change the bracket on my motherboard to accommodate the heat sink? I believe it comes with different size brackets. If you have this combo, were you able to install without removing the motherboard. Thanks!

Might have to. Dont worry SoCalCaz, just keep a digital camera handy if anything goes wrong.
You have ARTIC SILVER 5 yes? Remember dont put too much on.
Good luck mate!

I don't have that board but I have that HS. All of the AMD based systems must change the mounting bracket. It is a very simple process of removing two screws and swithing the plastic bracket with the one they give you. No need to remove your mobo from the case for most all mobos.
Only Gigabyte K8 (Athlon 64) motherboards require an additional metal backplate to mount. And the MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum motherboard has capacitors that seem to be in the way but you can bend them out of the way.
